I created my first ever mural for a local primary school and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. I painted their entire curriculum across a corridor of two walls, following the story from year one through to year six, offering children the opportunity to follow their school journey from the very beginning.
The idea was to have little pockets of artwork spread across the two walls which all link up to a part of the curriculum. Some of my favourites are 'Egypt', the Volcano and the vikings!
I was keen to make the walls bright, inviting and informative without overwhelming the children.
